Layla and Hasda were walking around Jovu, a grassland country, and were wondering about Luhani, Layla's mother, who was very ill. Hasda was trying to comfort Layla the whole day.
"My mother died, but she wasen't strong," she said,"but, your mother is very strong!"
But, Layla wouldn't stop crying.
That night, Luhani died and Layla decided to run away. So, she did! In the morning, Hasda noticed that her friend was gone so she went after her. Layla didn't walk very far so Hasda found her quick!
"Layla! What are you doing out here?" asked Hasda.
"Running away!" answered Layla crying,"My mother died so I want to run away!"
"No! You can't leave your father!" said Hasda,"I made that mistake to come and live with you when my mother died."
"Well, this is for a different reason," said Layla,"you lied to me about my mother and all!"
"Layla, I would never lie to you!" said Hasda,"I just thought that your mother would live, that's all."
Layla gasped.
"All you have to know about me, about us is that we will be best friends no matter what!" explained Hasda.
"Ahhhh!" said Layla.
After that, Layla and Hasda walked home!
